TFL Summer Reading Club Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays form 10am - 3pm, June 20 - July 27 (not meeting July 4, 5, 6) .. check it out here.
God Provides - Join in our 150th Anniversary Celebration with our neighbors. On Tuesday, August 1st we will join Ventura Village neighborhood in celebrating our anniversary and National Night Out. The festivities will take place in our parking lot from 6-8pm. Bring a dish to share. We will need help with setting up, cleaning us, gathering door prizes and face painting. Also, after church on Sunday, July 30th we need help passing out flyers and filling water balloons. If you can help, please contact Marge B.
Garage Sale Leader Needed On Saturday, August 5th we have volunteers to help with the money and the sale, but we need a leader or two. Thank you to everyone who has given of their time and energy to this outreach project.

Wednesday Morning Prayer Circle / Bible Class will NOT meet on July 19. When we do meet we'll listen to God speak to us thru the book of Revelation. All are welcome.
New Development!! Stained Glass Window Repair The
contractor said that he will decrease his price by $3,000 (bringing it down
to $56,000) if he can continue the project. We need theses funds soon in
order to give him an answer.
Work has begun, and you
CAN see a difference! The balcony windows (Transfiguration and Pentecost)
and the south windows (Prophets and some Disciples) have been completed. The lexon
was replaced with new glass and the sun shines in even better than before.
More than half of what is needed is here. Thanks be to God! $17,000 is still needed
to complete
the remaining windows. Would you

Bible Study for Seniors will be taking a break from their first-Saturday-a-month meetings this summer. They will resume their studies in September - watch for details in a couple months.
We Have A Number of student interns and volunteers who'd like to be involved in ministry with us over the coming year. Please be in prayer for these harvest hands!

World Mission Minute - - Ponder and Pray!

Oswald Hoffmann Memorial Lecture, Thursday, July 13th - This year the speaker for this free, public presentation is Rev. Roland Wells of Minneapolis speaking on how to reach the people of the world who are found in our cities. 7:30 p.m. at Concordia University. Lutheran Night at the Twins! (Thrivent Financial for Lutherans) --Wednesday August 16, 7:10pm - Minnesota Twins vs. Cleveland Indians. Please Consider bringing in some flowers from your garden for all to enjoy! Flowers beautify our sanctuary and remind us of God's creation. The sign up sheet is in the narthex. Please call the church office if you would like to recognize a special occasion with your flowers and it can be printed in the bulletin.
Hymnal Repair - if you see a hymnal in church that is in need of some repair, please give it to Bea.
Sign-Up Sheets to provide flowers for the sanctuary or bulletin folders ($7.95 per week) are on the bulletin board in the Narthex. It's a great way to honor a special person or occasion!
Portals of Prayer for July-Septmeber are available in the Narthex. Suggested donation is $1. What a great way to spend time with God and your family. A limited number of large print copies are available in the church office.
Campbell's Soup Labels - Lutheran Special Education Ministries can benefit from Campbell's soup labels - and labels from other Campbell's products as well. The ministry sends the labels to Campbell's and exchanges them for classroom equipment and materials which will benefit us at Trinity First. For information on how you can help with this project, please contact Michelle at school.
