Trinity First Lutheran Church

Bulletin Announcements

August 27, 2006 through September 2, 2006

God Provides.

These two simple words, "God Provides", convey so much.
No matter what we need, He will provide for us.
God has provided for Trinity First for 150 years.
He has provided for us especially through His Word, and promises to continue.

As we celebrate the 150 years of this congregation’s existence, we thank and praise God who has provided for us.
      Us.
Us, as members of Trinity First Ev. Lutheran Church.
Us, as members of the Christian faith.
      Us, as individuals.
Us, as the redeemed children of God.

The flowers on the altar are place in celebration and in honor of God, our Provider, for our 150th Anniversary. Similar arrangements also adorned the altars of our three remaining daughter congregations: Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Minneapolis,  Christ Church Lutheran, Minneapolis, and Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Minneapolis; and our granddaughter congregation: Peace Lutheran Church, Robbinsdale.

Special Projects have been done this year to help our celebration:
+  repair and cleaning of our stained glass windows
+  landscaping along 11th Avenue and 19th Street
+  air conditioning added to our Fellowship Hall
+  mega-cleaning done by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Plymouth

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” – Hebrews 13:8.

What comfort! What joy!

All Praise and Thanks to God!
