Evangelist Charles Gaye and his wife are returning to Libera on a permanent basis to serve as missionaries to their people. They will be commissioned in a 2:30 pm Addis Hewot worship service at Trinity First. Your prayers and presence are needed to send them on their way. The service will be conducted in English.
Update on Laura Kane - She is home and resting. She is able to have family visit her now and hopes in a couple of weeks to be able to receive other guests. Please keep her in your prayers and feel free to send her a note.
Trinity First Lutheran School's 7th & 8th Grade Girls will be sponsoring the Coffee Hour on Sunday, May 20th. We are volunteering to do the Coffee Hour as a part of a program sponsored through Concordia University to teach us stewardship. The money raised will be donated to the LCMS World Missions. Specifically, the money will be sent tot he African country of Sierra Leone to spread the Gospel. We look forward to this opportunity and we hope to see you there!

Spring Fling Social Ministry is planning a special evening for you on Saturday, May 5th at 7pm. The Wayzata Women's Chorus will be here to entertain us with "Broadway Hits" and dessert will follow the program. The group comes highly recommended and has entertained extensively in the Twin Cities and abroad. Invite your friends and relatives. Tickets are $6.50 per person. Two by Two, God's Floating Zoo - The Students and Staff of Trinity First Lutheran School invite you to their 2007 Spring Musical. Hallgrim Berg, PhD, will give a lecture entitled, "A Wake-up Call on the Islamification of Europe and Defense of Western Democratic Values" drawn from his new book, The Letter to Lady Liberty, at Mindekirken (612-874-0716) on Tuesday, May 1. Lunch will be at 11:00 a.m. with the lecture beginning at 12 noon.
World Day of Prayer : May 3 - Redemption Lutheran's Women's Ministry Group is hosting World Day of Prayer Service on Thursday, May 3 at 6:30 pm at 927 E Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington 55420. This is an LWML Zone event and is open to everyone. not just the ladies. Refreshment will be served following the service.

Campbell's Soup Labels - Lutheran Special Education Ministries can benefit from Campbell's soup labels - and labels from other Campbell's products as well. The ministry sends the labels to Campbell's and exchanges them for classroom equipment and materials which will benefit us at Trinity First.
