Now is the Time for Liberia! On Sunday, April 29 in a 2:30 pm worship service people came from al over the Minnesota South District to celebrate and send Charles and Louise Gaye back to Liberia where they will engage in holistic (social and evangelistic) ministry in their West African country that is now healing from the strife of  years of war. Many thanks to all the TFLers who turned out to praise the Lord and help TFL host the event! Special thanks goes out to Teddy Koeppen, Carol Zemke and Partners In Mission for coordinating so many of the details!

A Note from Laura Kane - "Bob and I want to express our heartfelt 'thank you!' to Pastor Jacob and all of you for your prayers and many cards of encouragement. I am on the road to recovery due to the Lord's healing power. Praise to His holy name. God bless you all. ~ Laura Kane"

Hispanic Mission Minute - by Abby Dawkins
"O Senor, es mucha la labor y obreros faltan ya..." (O Lord, the work is plentiful and the laborers few...) I sang this song many times with my Peruvian brothers and sisters during my time in Peru. It became one o my favorites. It is an earnest prayer to the Lord of the harvest to send workers into the world because the harvest is plentiful, but the workers few. Yesterday I sat in a meeting concerning Latino outreach through our MN South congregations. What a blessing to join together to talk about what God is doing around us and how we can be actively involved! It was evident to me that God is moving among Spanish-speaking people and that he has given us resources to share the Gospel with those around us. Pray that God would provide workers for this Harvest of Latino people here in MN-South.

Ladies, Save This Date! On Saturday, May 12th, Glory of Christ Lutheran Church in Plymouth is sponsoring "Women's Forum - From cradle to grave: The Vocation of the Lutheran Woman." The keynote speaker will be Mollie Ziegler Hemmingway. The focus: "Recovering a positive Lutheran approach to issues of God's design for women in singlehood, marriage and sexuality."  If you have questions, please contact Jean Small at 763-525-0272 or at jsmall@quest.net .

CD's or Cassette Tapes of this worship gathering are available to you by calling or emailing the church office, 612-870-9487.

Hospitalizations, Births and Funerals ... Please phone the church office if you or someone you know is hospitalized, has given birth, or is in need of funeral arrangements.
