A Measure of our Faithfulness Last Week
+ There were 59 in our Worship Service on June 10
+ There was no Tuesday Night Worship on June 12
+ Offering to General Fund received last week: $2203

May Financial Information:  Income $12,844     Expense $14,158     Net for May -$1,314
In the past months, we have been unable to make a dent in our line of credit obligation. A representative from the Church Extension Fund has stated that they really want to support our mission efforts and give us a chance to kick off some aggressive mission fund raising efforts. Because of this they will reorganize our current obligations resulting in a positive cash flow situation from our current situation by approximately $200 a month. What this means is the following: The current line of credit balance will be combined with our other CEF loan. Funds will also be set aside to cover a pending roof repair we have just been made aware of. There is a chance that a large portion of the roof expense will be covered by a warranty claim against past workmanship and materials, but a repair needs to happen none the less. Our available credit of $100,000 will be reduced by 1/2 to $50,000.

We all need to say a prayer of thanksgiving for this offer and now work diligently to accomplish our future financial needs before they become burdens. In the past month you all should have received a letter in the mail laying out where we have been for 150 years and where we want to be. There is more going on here than ever before and we need to get that word out that this is not just Trinity First Lutheran Church but the Mission Center at Trinity First and we need everyone to combine efforts to make sure we provide a fantastic space and opportunity for missions to be planted and grow. Please stay tuned in the next few weeks as we roll out some new fundraising and support ideas. Your help and ideas are always appreciated as well.  ~ Derek

Hispanic Mission Minute - by Abby Dawkins
"O God, you are my God and I will ever praise you, I will seek you in the morning and I will learn to walk in our ways. Step by Step you lead me and I will follow you all of my days." -Rich Mullins. Have you ever thought about how many steps we take in a day? Isn't it amazing to think that the creator of the universe, our Savior, accompanies us with each one? He leads us on one day at a time, one step at a time. God is leading me to take a new step in my journey as I have accepted a call to serve as a DCO at Jesus El Buen Pastor, a Hispanic congregation in Kansa City, MO working through the Lutheran Mission of the Good Shepherd. I will head down to Missouri the middle of July to start serving and learning what God has prepared to teach me there. I thank you so much for your support, prayers, and encouragement over the past year! What a blessing it has been to serve with you! I appreciate your continued prayers during this next step of life and ministry. Praise: for God's faithfulness over the past year! Pray: For a smooth transition of life, and ministry in KC, MO. Pray: for growth and protection for the Reyes family.

Brian Scoles will be ordained and installed as the 8th pastor of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (674 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul, MN 55106, 651-774-2396). You are invited to celebrate with them in a Sunday, June 24 worship service at 2pm. A reception will follow. Before attending seminary Brian served for many years as a Director of Christian Outreach (DCO). He's a friend from my days at Concordia, St. Paul and I know that he'll do a wonderful job capitalizing on the many opportunities to reach out with the Gospel in their vital and vibrant neighborhood!  ~ Pastor Jake
