Garage Sale Update - Thank you to all who help with our last garage sale. Please check the bulletin board to see pictures of newly donated items and of some of the people involved. Our next garage sale will be Saturday, July 14 - we'll need your help!

One Gift - Many Messengers   Join in preparing pastors worldwide! Your gift to the national Offering is crucial in preparing messengers of the Word. Pastor Jake will be taking your donations to the National Convention in July so make any checks payable to "Preparing Pastors Worldwide" and place them in the offering plate.

TFL Roof Repair Ice Cream Social Fund-Raiser  July 15 and August 19   All proceeds to be used towards our roof repair. Matching Funds by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans up to $1,300.00. Check requests are being run twice a month now as some of our accounting needs are being outsourced. In light of this you will want to plan ahead when you are submitting a check request.

Church Office Closed - The Church Office will be closed July 28-August 5.

Celebrate "The Village"  Help us celebrate our many cultures at the first outdoor multicultural art fair, "The Village" on Franklin Avenue between 10th & 15th, on Saturday, and Sunday, August 18th & 19th. There will be art for sale, a children's area, entertainment, a wellness area, food and more. For more information, call Marge Bratsch or visit our web site www.venturavillage.org. We have opportunities for artists, entertainers, volunteers, storytellers and story readers.

14th Annual Lutheran Night at the Twins - Tuesday, August 21, 2007 - Here's your chance to join family and friends for a night of big league fun and excitement! Since 1994, over 70,000 Lutherans of all ages have joined together for an evening of fellowship at the ballpark. Again this  year, $1 from every ticket sold will go to the Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity to help better lives for Minnesota families. (For more information, please visit thriventbuilds.com) Also, you can become a member of the Twins "Lutheran Night Choir" and help sing the National Anthem. One person from each delegation of 25 or more can participate with the pregame anthem song. Hospitalizations, Births and Funerals ... Please phone the church office if you or someone you know is hospitalized, has given birth, or is in need of funeral arrangements. Due to privacy laws and lack of staff, hospitals and nursing homes seldom (if ever) phone the congregation or pastor when you enter the hospital.

Campbell's Soup Labels -  Lutheran Special Education Ministries can benefit from Campbell's soup labels - and labels from other Campbell's products as well. The ministry sends the labels to Campbell's and exchanges them for classroom equipment and materials which will benefit us at Trinity First.
