Tom & Darlene StoverChurch Planter, Community of Faith Lutheran Church Tjs612@aol.com Tom graduated from The Master's Institute Seminary. MI is a conservative Scripture-based Lutheran Seminary which takes Jesus' mandate to 'go out' and bring the Good News of Salvation to everyone very seriously. Tom grew up in Brooklyn Center where he was a confirmed member of Lutheran Church of the Master. After graduating from Anoka High School, he went on to earn his A.A. Degree from Golden Valley Lutheran College (LBI) and transferred to Augsburg College where he finished his junior year. After a few years in the 'real world' he received his B.A. Degree from Trinity University. Tom spent 20+ years in the Electronics Industry working in sales, marketing and manufacturing. He retired from the industry in 2003 to follow the Call of Jesus. Darlene has worked for sixteen years for the Bird and Cronin Company who manufactures orthopedic soft-goods for the Medical Industry. She is a Territory Manager responsible for Europe and the East Coast of the United States. Tom and Darlene's home congregation is Community of Hope Lutheran Church located in Rosemount, Minnesota where Tom interned. They have four grown boys and the most beautiful granddaughter in the world! |

Katherine Doepke Katherine, a member since 1946, is the current President of the Congregation. Over the years she has held many elected positions of leadership. Foremost in her service is the desire to sing praise to the Lord and serve Him using the talents He gave her. Her love of music and its power to enhance worship remains a large part of her life. Beginning in 1952 with a Cherub Choir, adding Senior Choir a year later, Katherine engaged in a ministry of music. Boys Choir, Triple Trio (Trinity First school girls), junior choir and 10 years of school operettas added up to 39 years as Choir Director. Pianist, soprano soloist and substitute organist complete the “joyful noise to the Lord”. She really tickles the ivories playing for a Praise Service. Katherine is a mission-minded promoter of Meeting Needs, Serving Christ. She is active in L.W.M.L. and Partners in Mission. Her favorite verse
since Confirmation is “Be thou faithful unto death and I will give thee a
crown of life”. |

Wendy Colglazier Wendy has a rich history with Trinity First Lutheran Church. A fourth-generation member, she has played piano for Sunday School, was the church secretary/ Ministry Assistant, for seven and one half years, and was the Chair of the 150th Anniversary Committee. Currently, she is the co-archivist with her grandfather and the web-servant of this site. Often smiling and giggling, Wendy's e-signature usually states:
Wendy's favorite bible verse is "The sacrifices of
God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will
not despise." Psalm 51:17
