Tiger Club ~ after school Christian outreach
to the students of Trinity First |
| Where: |
1115 East 19th Street, Minneapolis |
| For: |
Trinity First studetns in grades kindergarten - 8th
grade (most are in the younger grades) |
| When: |
between the hours of 2:30pm and 5:30pm on school days |
| Why: |
"We loved you so much that we were delighted to share
with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well
because you had become so dear to us." ~ 1 Thes.

| NEEDED ASAP |
Interested volunteers (teens and older) for any of the
following: |
| |
- tutoring (math, reading, writing)
- reading a story to kindergarteners
- personal encouragement / mentoring
- facilitating a 10 min sharing of kids' news and
needs (using set questions)
- praying with kids one-on-one or in a small group
- presenting a short devotional (5 minutes) to a mixed
age group
- playing basketball and other sports
- engaging kids in meaningful fitness activities
- sharing art / craft projects
- sharing musical talents (guitar, singing, etc.)
- teaching / playing table games (chess, checkers,
etc.)
- providing transportation for occasional field trips

| We are not limited in the ways in which you could share with
these students ... this list is only a start! You probably can think
of other creative ways that the talented Christian family here at
Trinity First could benefit the students who will be at Tiger Club. |

| If you cannot come, but would like to help support his unique
after school Christian outreach, some other items we need are: |
- jump ropes
- a good football, soccer ball, and basketball
- hula-hoops
- any other inexpensive toys that promote fitness and being
active
- dictionaries (used acceptable)
- thesaurus
- children's Bibles (NIV)
- children's Bibles (pictured for the kindergarteners)
