Opportunity for Service at Trinity First
What:
The Summer Reading Club, an opportunity for the children of Trinity First Lutheran School and of the Phillips community to be engaged in academic refreshers in math, reading, geography and more during the months of June and July. The children will be involved in large and small group activities, music, crafts, and devotions. They are served a lunch and will take part in weekly field trips.

Needed:
Volunteers to...

  • help the children read and work on math skills
  • preparing and serving lunch
  • helping with art or music activities
  • chaperoning field trips
  • small items to use as incentives
  • snacks

When:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am - 3pm beginning June 20 and ending July 27. Summer Reading Club will not meet the week of July 4.

How often are Volunteers Needed?
One day, or every day - whatever fits your summer schedule
Where:
Trinity First Lutheran School
1115 East 19th Street, Minneapolis
Why:
To provide an opportunity for children from Trinity First and the Phillips community to participate in educational enrichment activies during the summer in a Christ-Centered Environment.
