The Gospel of Christ Windows

These small, rectangular windows are located on the lower south wall of the Nave. The word, nave, comes from the Latin word for ship. The Church symbolically sails unharmed through all perils for the Word of God (Gospel) will never fail. Notice that these windows are placed in a dark corner so they glow, reminding us of Christ, the Light of the World. The orb of light symbol in the windows stand for the divinity of Christ.
